Preliminary Qualifications
for Homeowner Assistance

In order to receive assistance from Good Neighbors Home Repair, the homeowner needs to make sure they can meet the following requirements. If the homeowner can have the items below available when the application procedure is initiated, it will facilitate that part of the process.


PRELIMINARY QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Full name, address and phone number.
  2. Verification of all household income.  All sources from all people living in the house—part or full time.
  3. Verification of home ownership, i.e. copy of deed.
  4. Verification that all property taxes are paid to date. 

Should a homeowner qualify after all this necessary information is obtained, we will visit the home to determine and prioritize the needs. A start date is not provided until we know the scope of work and when the appropriate volunteers can be scheduled.  This can take any where from several weeks to several months.
